Matthew Chilton

Matthew Chilton is a Founding Partner of The Strategy Organization, a modern boutique consulting firm specializing in the gaming and hospitality industry. Focused on developing strategies that drive meaningful results, Chilton lends expertise in all facets of operations, including research, development, evaluation and implementation of new products, services, and technology to position organizations for competitive advantage within the dynamic hospitality environment. He has a keen ability to ensure all operational facets within the company align with the long-term goals and objectives for an organization. 

As a seasoned hospitality leader, Chilton has a proven track record of elevating the vision to develop and implement customer centric programs that produce both long-term and short-term profitability, increase awareness and capture market share. Through a data-driven approach, Chilton leverages insights and analytics to review and make recommendations on financial strategies that measure productivity, goal achievement, cost reduction, and identification of enhancements and optimization. 

Chilton has a distinguished career in the hospitality and gaming industry spanning over 20 years with oversight of hotel operations, revenue management, guest services, design and development, sales and financial planning. Prior to founding The Strategy Organization, he launched CCM Hospitality in 2018 as the Founding Partner and Owner, a Hotel Development and Management Company, that has financed, developed, and currently operates two limited service hotels in Nevada. He previously served as the General Manager at Delano Las Vegas, charged with leading the oversight of developing, implementing and managing the re-branding strategy of THEhotel to Delano Las Vegas, providing direction to grow and scale, increase revenue and enhance customer loyalty. 

He has also held multiple leadership positions with cross-functional responsibilities at various hotels in the gaming and hospitality industry in which he sustained success and strategic growth, including Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, THEhotel, Treasure Island Resort and Casino, and Mirage Resorts, with teams of ~3,000 employees at each property. He was responsible for leading capital improvement initiatives, with oversight of up to $200M in renovations. Experienced in the areas of operations and growth strategies, he drove projects that achieved in excess of $300M in growth and revenue savings across the portfolio. He is passionate about growing and cultivating high performing teams through developing cultures of teamwork, service excellence, recognition, and diversity and inclusion, leading to achievement of earning and maintaining AAA Four Diamond Rating under his leadership at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.

EDUCATION & AFFILIATIONS
Chilton obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology, with a minor in Urban Studies and Planning at the University of California at San Diego. He also serves as the Board of Trustees Treasurer for The Meadows School and serves on the committee for Make a Wish Las Vegas.
